Usually major issues are minimized and we forget the heartache and drama that actually led to the breakup. Sometimes people get back together only to remember why they were better off apart. But what if you actually lost the love of your life...because of your own stupidity, immaturity, infidelity, selfishness, not loving back the way you were loved, being unappreciative of their effort or simply not realizing what you had until they were gone. This is the essence of this slow rock song. The slow tempo and steady sad heartbeat make the angst palpable. The pain. Grief. Heartache. The bitter words sung without a sweet melody to showcase their powerlessness amid the taste of anger and sorrow linger. Try not to cry too much as you remember your failed opportunity.
