Ace Lover is a New York City Based Indie recording artist, producer, & street/contemporary art painter.  His music is a fusion of  Progressive Indie Hip Hop, Dancehall, Sound Art, Alternative psychedelic funk, & Doo Wop creating his own unique style of music. Ace Lover released a Doo Wop themed limited edition collectible 7" vinyl through his own imprint, Ace Lover Productions, May 2015, which was distributed by Fat Beats. The 45 record release included the New York City underground scene favorite "Amazing Brains" that peaked at #8 on the top 40 Hip Hop Record Breakers chart.

         Ace Lover's been Devlin' and javelin' celebrity-status style in the New York City scene for a minute. The Spanglish homeboy made a sudden splash with his debut single when he was still a teenage street art creator & Hip Hop MC. He was originally discovered by Indie record executive producer Phil Rust of Music Family at an MC battle in the Lower East Side of Manhattan at the age of 17. Phil helped develop him into a professional recording artist. Ace released two 12" vinyl records on the Music Family imprint which garnered a substantial amount of interest in the indie hip-hop market worldwide. After his contract was up at Music Family he was quickly picked up by Cajo Communications & continued to release music through Fat Beats Distribution. During his stint with Cajo Communications, he toured the USA & Canada & was named the next 100 upcoming artists to look out for by URB magazine. As the years went by he has cultivated his crafts & evolved into a uniquely talented, self-contained, musical recording artist & contemporary art painter.


        
 Riding off the momentum of his 7" release in 2015, he released a series of visual music art videos with a steady release of underground singles & Eps. Ace Lover will be making his contemporary art debut in 2017 with his 1st exhibition after years of paying his dues as a New York City Street Art creator. Ace Lover is a historically significant New York City recording artist, producer, & contemporary street all city graffiti artist with a music career spanning over a decade.
  1. He started making a name for himself when he was only 16 years old entering MC battles, writing his name on the walls throughout New York City and recording underground classics.
    He initially started making underground Hip Hop music at the turn of the century when he released his 1st 12" vinyl single that had garnered a substantial amount of interest in the indie Hip Hop market worldwide.

    When Ace Lover became a young adult, he & his family moved to Uptown Bronx on E.228th Street which is a predominately Jamaican/West Indian Neighborhood in the Bronx. They moved there because of his niece, who is blind, attended Lavelle School for the Blind, the only all blind children's school in the whole entire New York City. In this neighborhood Ace Lover was influenced by the Uptown Bronx Dancehall Scene. He was influenced by modern dancehall artist like Sean Paul, Vybz Kartel, Blak Rhyno, Alkaline, PopCaan, Dexta Daps, to classic reggae acts like Delroy Wilson, Gregory Isaacs, & Dennis Brown.

    The Ace Lover "Think About Her" record is a single released by Mt Vernon New York Independent Dancehall Record label We Are One Productions. The music Video features incredible Disney style rotoscoping by New York City Modern Contemporary Pop Street artist Dyani.
